Hi! This is Dr. Jon Klingborg (“Dr. K”), a veterinarian and Chief of Staff at Valley Animal Hospital of Merced. I have been performing orthopedic and soft tissue surgery since 1992. Great Teams create Great Results and I have a truly Great Team at Valley Animal Hospital of Merced. Yes, I am the surgeon, but the assistance of my dedicated Receptionists, Patient Care Nurses and Surgical Nurses is a key to success!!

Nurse Liz, RVT is the Chief Surgical Nurse and Nursing Supervisor at VAH. Liz is also a Founding member of “Team TPLO” at Valley Animal Hospital of Merced. She has over 25 years of experience as a Veterinary Nurse.
Taylor, Veterinary Assistant has been a Veterinary Surgical Assistant for 5 years. She was a Founding Member of Team TPLO in 2022. Together they have performed dozens of TPLOs and many, many other surgeries with Dr. K.
